“Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make change.” -Barbara Mikulski
Marine biology is the study of marine organisms and how they interact with the environment. Many disciplines can fall under the title of marine biology such as biological oceanography, cellular biology, chemistry, ecology, geology, meteorology, molecular biology, physical oceanography and zoology and the new science of marine conservation biology. Marine conservation has been a great focus of mine throughout my ISM journey, as through research and hard work I plan on making a positive difference.
